WHEREAS, Cadet Lindsay Barnes will be graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2008 with a major in Criminal Justice and a dual minor in Military Science and Substance Addiction Treatment; and

WHEREAS, Cadet Barnes has a 3.67 cumulative grade point average; and

WHEREAS, Cadet Barnes was also a member of Alpha Phi Sigma, the Criminal Justice Honor Society; and

WHEREAS, Cadet Barnes worked as a truancy case manager at a local non-profit agency and has volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada; and

WHEREAS, on May 16, 2008, Cadet Barnes will commission as a Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada commends Cadet Lindsay Barnes for her fine achievements and wishes her continued success in her future endeavors;
