WHEREAS, Sherry began her professional career with the State of Nevada on October 17, 1980 with Rural Clinics as an Administrative Aid II; after holding many positions, she was promoted to the Department of Taxation as a Principal Account Clerk in 1985, Sherry Forrette is retiring as an Accountant Technician I to the Adjustment Section of the Department of Taxation; and

WHEREAS, Sherry Forrette has served as a constant source of information and encouragement, and has been a friend and role model for all those who have known or worked with her; and

WHEREAS, Sherry Forrette has had a profound influence on all persons she comes in contact with, by exhibiting care and compassion for all citizens of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Sherry Forrette’s work ethic, unwavering integrity, and spirit have been nothing less than outstanding; and

WHEREAS, Sherry Forrette will sincerely be missed, both professionally and personally by all who have had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her; and

WHEREAS, the citizens of the Silver State and men and women of the Department of Taxation have benefited greatly from the dedication of Sherry Forrette, we join in wishing her a hearty congratulations and thanks for a job well done;
