WHEREAS, Rebecca Richard-Maley is an exceptional State employee who has provided 30 years of exceptional services to the State of Nevada; and WHEREAS, Rebecca Richard-Maley began her career with Desert Regional Center of the Division of Mental Health and Mental Retardation in November of 1977, and will end her career as the Clinical Program Planner III over the children’s mental health grants management unit for the Division of Child and Family Services on July 3, 2008; and WHEREAS, the State of Nevada recognizes her exceptional contributions to State services and to the citizens of this great state, the outstanding achievements with the Division of Child and Family Services and commends her for a job well done; and WHEREAS, Rebecca Richard-Maley is described by her contemporaries, friends and co-workers as creative, energetic, helpful, hard-working, professional, positive and as one who brings humor and laughter to all around her; and WHEREAS, Rebecca Richard-Maley will be sincerely missed by all who have had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her as co-workers, members of multiple commissions and boards, community stakeholders and as parents of children in state services; and WHEREAS, on behalf of the citizens of the State of Nevada, I thank and commend Rebecca Richard-Maley for her many years of devoted and honorable services to our Silver State and wish her continued success in all her future endeavors; NOW, THEREFORE, I, JIM GIBBONS, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim July 3, 2008 as a day in honor of REBECCA L.
