WHEREAS, Anita Osborn is a dedicated and exceptional public servant who has diligently provided 21 years of outstanding service to the State of Nevada as a Family Support Worker in the Homemaker Program, within the Division for Aging Services since 1999; and

WHEREAS, Anita Osborn has been a strong supporter, advocate and provider of services to clients of the Division’s Homemaker program with compassion and respect for the seniors served; and

WHEREAS, Anita Osborn has performed her duties as a Family Support Worker, for the Division for Aging Services - specifically for the Elder Protective Services Unit where she was able to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable seniors ; and

WHEREAS, Anita Osborn has displayed exceptional commitment and dedication throughout her years of service with the State of Nevada; on behalf of the citizenry of the Silver State, I would like to thank and commend her for her years of devoted and honorable service and extend our best wishes for a healthy, happy and fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JIM GIBBONS, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim July 11, 2008, as a day in honor of
