WHEREAS, On August 1, 2008, Diane Nassir is completing almost 25 years of meticulous devotion to detail and extraordinary service to the State of Nevada, the last twenty with the Department of Health and Human Services in the divisions of Welfare, Health Care Financing and Policy, and the Director’s Office; and

WHEREAS, as the Director’s Office Management Analyst IV for the past eight years, Diane Nassir has been the authoritative source for information, the agency’s official "Keeper of All Knowledge," and the "Queen of Website Research," providing DHHS employees with a wealth of information; and

WHEREAS, Diane Nassir has served with distinction and honor during her tenure with DHHS and has left an indelible mark on the State of Nevada by sharing her unique expertise with multiple state agencies; and

WHEREAS, Diane Nassir created and helped perfect caseload forecasting methodologies—including a sophisticated, multi-regression analysis system—that have benefited the people of Nevada and state government leaders in projecting growth and expenditures; and

WHEREAS, the Director’s Office staff and all those who have greatly profited from and relied upon Diane Nassir’s systematic and principled approach to duty and professional expertise will miss her infectious smile and contagious laughter; and

WHEREAS, the Governor of the State of Nevada recognizes Diane Nassir’s exemplary dedication in service to the Department of Health and Human Services and the State of Nevada;
