WHEREAS, educators are one of Nevada’s most vital and valuable economic resources and are key in our State’s economic development and the State’s best investment in the future; and

WHEREAS, knowledgeable education is the foundation upon which our society is built and where each individual will be afforded the opportunity for betterment and empowerment in order to ascend to his or her highest level of achievement; and

WHEREAS, the people of Nevada deserve the best education possible under the State Regulatory Laws, and Nevada is dedicated to improving the quality of consumer protection with education; and

WHEREAS, our State’s involvement is a major factor in retaining homeownership success; and

WHEREAS, all consumer members should be encouraged to recognize the important role that the State and it’s licensees play in the successful retention of homeownership and how that adds to the economic class, that all should be some active participants in the State and it’s complete homeownership protection education plan;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JIM GIBBONS, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim September 13, 2008, as
